Handmade Foil Printart - Palm Trees

This printmaking  (gravure, etching, foil art) made using handmade plate made from painting.  


The plate is then put through a high-pressure printing press using aluminium foil together with a sheet of paper.  

The paper picks up the ink from the etched lines, making a print.   


This painting on foil is an ancient technique using new technology to produce stunning visual effect.  


Print is glued with a special glue to a black MDF board. 


You can easily insert this gravure into frame or paspartoo type of frame.
