The Sole Is Chunky Like The Picture, Quite Strong And Is Slightly Foamy Feeling Which Makes The Shoe Very Very Comfortable- No Need To Wear These Shoes In! The Shoe Fits Well, I Got A Size 6 Uk And It Fits, But I Would Say For Thin Feet Like Mine To Maybe Size Down And Stretch Them Out As They Run A Tad Big But Nothing That Makes Them Hard To Wear/ Uncomfortable. They Came Packaged In Bubble Wrap, Which Was Enough. Be Aware That They Do Have A Slight Smell To Them Upon Opening, But After Taking Them Out And Wearing Them For A Short Time The Smell Went.
