This Is About The Simplest Accessory To Add To A Camcorder. This Takes Away The Need To Reach For The Zoom Rocker Switch On Top Of The Camcorder Or Feel For The Record Button On The Back Of It. (Sony FDR-AX700). The Zoom Control Is Identical To The Camcorder's Rocker Switch In Zoom Speed. The Feel Might Even Be A Little Better But That Is Subjective. The Red Record/stop Button Gives Out A Mechanical "click" Sound When Pushed. I Won't Find That Small Noise To Be A Problem. There Were No Diagrams In The Package But One Minute Back On The Product Description Page And I Could Be Certain Which Direction Is "Sony" (Forward Position). It Takes A Firm Push To Move So It Won't Accidentally Change To Panasonic. The Camcorder Has A Menu Function "Remote Control" And It Has No Effect On This Remote Switch. It Will Operate In Either OFF Or ON Choice In The Menu. The Menu Option Affects The Small Multi-function Wireless Remote Control That Comes With The Camcorder. 13 Oct 2021 10:09
