Fused Glass Plate - "summer Waltz"

About 300 stringers - thin colorful glass sticks - were used to make this plate. All these stringers were fused with a clear glass base at 1500F.
They are mixed in a special way, so you may see two planes of squares - one above another. And these squares look like a parquet floor

The edges of the plate are ground and polished. The plate is food safe and you may use a dishwasher at your own risk.
